About eKasa

eKasa is the Slovak system for online cash registers. Every receipt issued by a Slovak business is sent to the Financial Administration (Finančná správa) and gets a unique receipt ID and a QR code. Anyone holding the receipt can look it up in the Financial Administration’s public receipt service.

What Cashfinity downloads

When you scan a receipt, Cashfinity uses its ID to download the receipt from the Financial Administration and stores in your workspace:

the receipt ID,
the shop: name, IČO (company ID) and address,
the date and time of purchase,
every item: name, quantity, unit price and VAT rate,
the totals and VAT breakdown.

The receipt contains no information about you as a customer. Only people with access to your workspace can see it.

What is sent to AI

Items that none of your categorization rules cover are sent to an AI model (Anthropic Claude) to suggest a category. The request contains only the item names, quantities and prices, the shop’s name, and your list of categories and labels. It never contains your name, email or anything else about your account.
